Why Upgrade? The development of Block Salt and its introduction in 1992 is making life a lot easier for the owners of our new water softeners. The packs are very much smaller and contain two 4kg blocks. They also have a handle. Compare this to a 25kg (Half a hundredweight) clumsy bag of tablet or granular salt.
